District Wildlife Solutions is Hiring a Wildlife Technician Near Bowie, MD

Overview:
We are seeking a Wildlife Removal Technician to join our team. As a Wildlife Removal Technician, you will be responsible for safely and effectively removing wildlife from residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of wildlife behavior and the ability to use various tools and equipment as well as handling ladders. Our service area includes Montgomery county, Prince Georges County and Washington, DC.

Duties: Wildlife Trapper

- Safely and humanely remove wildlife, including but not limited to raccoons, squirrels, bats, and birds, from properties

- Utilize appropriate techniques and tools to capture and relocate wildlife
-Keep records of wildlife removal for each job

Duties: Wildlife Technician

- Conduct inspections of properties to identify wildlife infestations and assess the extent of the problem
- Install exclusion devices and repair entry points to prevent future infestations
- Educate customers on wildlife prevention methods and provide recommendations for property maintenance
- Complete detailed reports of each service call, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations for follow-up

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wildlife removal or related field preferred
- Knowledge of local wildlife species, their habits, and behavior
- Basic understanding of pest control methods and techniques
- Proficient in using hand tools for repairs and installations

-Proficient in handling ladders up to 32'
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Construction experience is a plus
