Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Basketball Coach to join our team. As a Basketball Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and training athletes in the fundamentals of basketball, developing their skills, and fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Duties: - Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy - Teach athletes the rules and techniques of basketball - Plan and organize team practices, drills, and scrimmages - Provide individualized coaching and feedback to athletes to help them improve their skills - Motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential - Develop game strategies and make in-game adjustments as needed - Coordinate team participation in games, tournaments, and other events - Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive program - Ensure the safety of athletes during practices and games Experience: - Previous experience coaching basketball or playing at a competitive level - Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies - Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to motivate and inspire athletes - Knowledge of first aid and CPR & AED is required.
