Seeking a full-time organized, detailed oriented, pragmatic,
and collaborative Sanitarian to join the environmental health
team based in our Oceana County Office.

General Responsibilities

  • Inspecting fixed, mobile, temporary, and other food
service facilities.
  • Conducting food borne illness investigations, public
health complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health
or other related Field.
  • Registration as a Sanitarian (RS/REHS) is preferred
but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work
independently with general supervision.
  • Must Have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
