Dermatology Receptionist and Patient Ambassador
We are seeking a cheerful, dynamic, and organized Dermatology Receptionist to aid with patient care duties including patient check in/out, scheduling patient appointments, explaining basics of patient care procedures, managing provider schedules, organizing patient charts, communicating with other physician offices regarding referrals and patient records, verifying insurance benefits, collecting time of service payments, and managing all patient inquiries.
In this most critical role, a successful candidate will act as an ambassador of the practice to patients and other medical offices.
The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, honest, hardworking, flexible, good humored and patient-centered.
We are looking to grow our excellent team with members who are eager to contribute to top-quality patient care and ultimately the success of the best dermatology practice in the area.
A willingness to learn and grow with the practice over the long term is a must!
Required Qualifications:
-Experience and excellence with patient and customer service related interactions. Greeting patients with a smile!
-Comfort with serving as the “Face” of the practice
-Experience and detailed knowledge of electronic medical record systems for scheduling
-Experience and detailed knowledge of maintaining compliance with patient privacy
-Experience and willingness to establish and maintain a highly professional but enjoyable work environment
-Experience and detailed knowledge of patient flow, patient care operations, and understanding co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and other insurance-related payment models
Desired Qualifications:
-Dermatology, Mohs Surgery, or Cosmetic Dermatology/Surgery experience
