Do you have clerical experience and a high school diploma? District 19 Community Services Board located in Petersburg, VA is seeking an hourly Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative support to programs as needed. Essential duties of this position include: receptionist duties in a courteous and professional manner; filing, receiving and following up on phone calls, data entry, written correspondence, verify eligibility of benefits by contacting MCOs and insurance companies regarding coverage and payments; and ensure consumer confidentiality.

High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of related experience. General clerical experience. Experience working with computer applications (Word and Excel) and data entry.
Prefer Experience working in a behavioral health setting. Some college preferred. Salary:
Position is a Grade 202, starting salary is $17.35/hour. Salaries are negotiable.

Hours:

Up to 25 hours per week: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

This position works on an as needed basis (PRN), not benefits eligible.

Position requires valid Driver’s License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher, and an extensive pre-employment background check and drug screening.
