Job Title: Central Distribution Technician

Job Description:
Functions under the direction of the General Manager. Responsible for the functions associated with the supply chain cycle for facilities with Distribution Cooperative, Inc. including, but not limited to responsibilities with receiving, warehousing, distribution, and the supply replenishment process in the
LUM area and the entire warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Resolves and expedites receipt discrepancies and unacceptable commodities.
• Inputs disbursements into the distribution software system (Tecsys).
• Provides customer service and tracks daily inventory discrepancies.
• May be called upon to drive Distribution Center 26’ delivery trucks or courier van to all supply locations in the Distribution Cooperative, Inc. system for supply delivery.
• Responsible for making certain medical supplies are accurately and efficiently delivered to each Distribution Cooperative, Inc. customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 years in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
• 1 year of inventory skills in an automated warehousing, receiving, and inventory environment are a must.
• High school diploma required.

Computer Skills:
Must have basic personal computer skills.

Physical Demands:
Must be in good physical condition. Heavy lifting is required (50 – 75 pounds).
Frequent walking, sitting, bending, pulling, and standing are required. Limited exposure to bio-hazardous substances. Works indoors and outdoors. Operation of electrical equipment, dollies, and other various warehouse equipment.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• inventory skills in an automated warehousing environment: 1 year (Required)
• warehouse/distribution environment: 1 year (Required)
