Distribution Logistics LLC (DSTL) is a regional leader in last mile transportation and logistics. We are seeking experienced, dedicated, professional drivers to join the DSTL team for an exciting growth opportunity available in Rockville, MD. Come build your future with DSTL!

As a Step Van Delivery Driver, you will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. Delivery Drivers will drive an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated vehicle, delivering oversized/bulky packages to customers. You can expect to work 3-5 days per week and 10-12 hours per day.

We are a 7 day a week operation. We only hire drivers with open/flexible availability to work weekdays and Saturday or Sunday (you will not be scheduled both weekend days, but must be available to work either according to the weekly needs). Start time for this position is 9:30am. Additional days/hours may be required during peak times or as business needs dictate.

Minimum Requirements:

• SAFETY 1st mentality! – protect yourself, others, and company assets
• 1 years driving experience in a Step Van, 16ft box truck or larger vehicle
• DOT Medical Card/Cert (current or willing to obtain one before starting)
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid standard driver’s license (no special license required)
• Be able to start mid-morning and work until route completion
• Read, write, and speak English
• Have good communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Able to operate handheld electronic delivery devices and navigate route using GPS guidance
• Able to lift heavy/bulky items weighing up to 75lbs

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years driving experience in a 24ft box truck or larger vehicle
• Prior DOT regulated driving experience
• Residential delivery experience
• Demonstrated independent problem solving and analytical skills
• Prior experience interacting with customers and public in a professional and positive manner
