Position Summary
This position is responsible for repairs or work on clients’ pools. Maintain pools on weekly scheduled maintenance services. (Candidate must have 3 plus years of pool service experience and hold either a SP2 license or hold a CST or a CSP Certification.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform weekly maintenance on pools to include, vacuum, test balance chemistry, skim, brush, clean filter, and report issues. (as needed)
· Install new pumps, filters, heaters, automation equipment, winter covers, etc.
· Diagnosis and repair pumps, filters, heaters, automation equipment, etc.
· Diagnosis and solve issues with pool chemistry
· Diagnosis and repair leaks
· Open and close pools
· Greet and speak with clients, or others, in a professional manner.
· Complete daily workorders for each job including notes, chemistry, photos, etc.
· Assist Construction Department, as needed.
· Assist in unloading delivered items.
· Complete any additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· High school diploma, or equivalent, required. No experience necessary, on the job field training, in-house safety training, and general maintenance training are provided.
· Must hold a valid driver’s license.
· Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Effectively able to communicate with groups of customers or employees.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions using written, oral, or diagram forms. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
· Comfortable using computer programs, including service software for entering work orders and running reports.

This position will regularly use various equipment and machinery, including portable vacuum systems, submergible pumps, trash pumps, leak detection equipment, hammer drills, and vacuum blowers. This position will regularly require standing, walking, use and reach of hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. This position will frequently require talking and hearing. This position will occasionally require sitting, climbing, or balancing, and tasting or smelling. This position will frequently require the ability to lift and/or move up to 100lbs. This position will require close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and the ability to see color. This position will regularly be working in various conditions including wet or humid non-weather-related conditions, working near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and with a risk of electrical shock. This position is occasionally exposed to animal bites, is regularly exposed to flea, tick, or other insect bites, and is frequently exposed to poison ivy or poison sumac. The noise level for this position is moderate.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
