Our new Drywall Site Supervisor has a passion for ensuring projects are executed successfully and loves the challenges of the day-to-day production. The Distinctive Drywall Site Supervisor position is a key leader in our company and will play an integral role in helping us get to the next level.

Objectives:

1. Ensure projects are started and completed on-time

2. Ensure production crews are delivering company quality and cleanliness standards

3. Provide technical expertise to crews, customers, and company

4. Identify and solve potential issues before they become problems

5. Ensure that Distinctive is an easy company to work with and that we are always their 1st choice for drywall and painting

Accountabilities:

• Complete on-site scope reviews prior to project start
• Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are on-site at the start of each phase
• Clearly communicate scope of work and project expectations with crews at that start of each phase
• Inspect projects during critical parts of the process to ensure quality aligns with company expectations
• Manage and lead the day-to-day performance of drywall installation, taping, spraying, and sanding crews.
• Project documentation and communication
• Educate and train team members on company best practices

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant foreman/supervisor experience in the construction industry
• Technical drywall skills preferred
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints/plans
• Proven track record for managing multiple crews and projects
• High attention to detail
• You have grit and thrive under pressure
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Resourceful and has a “figure it out” mindset
• Strong leadership skills; team building, problem solving, conflict management, brainstorming, etc.
• Ability to develop and nurture lasting customer and team relationships
• Proficient in training and mentoring others
• Proficient with construction software and electronic tablets
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
