POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the daily general warehousing duties in the Plant including order fulfillment, product movement and green coffee handling. Other elements necessary for this position are DLC product knowledge, DLC Quality Assurance training, DLC GMP training and the ability to operate a forklift and/or reachlift in a safe, efficient manner.

KEY DUTIES:

• Product knowledge
• Complete understanding of all DLC items
• Understanding of entire work/product flow
• Complete understanding of proper DLC documentation procedures
• Quality Assurance knowledge
• Proper understanding of all DLC QA standards
• Accountable for integrity and appearance of all picked product
• Understanding of product coding and date/lot coding
• Ability to document accurate and complete DLC picking tickets
• DLC GMP knowledge
• Completion of DLC GMP training seminars
• Forklift safety certified
• Order Fulfillment
• Pick orders for shipment
• Prepare UPS via UPS on-line
• Route all completed sales orders to Shipping Lead
• Notifies Shipping Lead or Warehouse Manager when inventory availability is an issue

Plant Environment:

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Sweep work area regularly after each use
• Ensure that all supplies are organized and stored in their proper place
• Ensure that all equipment used is cleaned and well maintained
• Every employee has a responsibility to report employee safety, food safety and/or quality concerns to their Supervisor/Manager immediately upon identification.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

POSITION SKILL/COMPETENCY:

· Lift a minimum of 75 lbs. on a regular basis

· Operate potentially dangerous equipment in a safe manner

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma required; technical or college degree a plus

· Previous experience in a manufacturing facility a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Material Movers: 2 years (Preferred)
