We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our Themed Entertainment team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing fan conventions, ensuring a memorable experience for attendees, guests, and partners. If you’re passionate about pop culture, fandoms, and creating exceptional events, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain event planning documents including schedules, budgets and logistics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define event goals, themes, and objectives.
  • Coordinate communication, asset requests, and materials as needed.
  • Attend key meetings, take notes, contribute to the ideation processes, and ensure appropriate follow through of relevant action items discussed.
  • Arrange credentials, accommodations, and general logistics for staff and participants.
  • Assist managers with overseeing setup, teardown, and on-site operations during the convention.
  • Assist managers with addressing any issues or emergencies that arise during the event.
  • Some travel and non-traditional work hours may be required depending on business needs
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Assist managers with routing materials for approval and other various tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Exceptional organization skills
  • A keen eye for details
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once and be flexible as priorities shift
  • 1 years of relevant experience preferred but not required
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $51,300.00-$66,300.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
