Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The DTC Strategy team supports DTC leadership in driving profitable growth and innovation by collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide market intelligence, identify opportunities, and deliver actionable strategies and business plans. The team’s activities and accomplishments have contributed to the growth and success of the DTC business. Examples of work the group has led recently include:
Developing near- and long-term strategies to improve the financial performance of TWDC’s suite of direct-to-consumer services (e.g., pricing strategy, product prioritization)
Assessing potential partnership opportunities for our direct-to-consumer services
Aligning with other TWDC stakeholders on content investment and windowing strategies
Creating materials to lay out the business’s strategy for the investor community (e.g., earnings prep, Board of Director updates, Investor Day, long range planning).
Responsibilities:
Play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and implementing strategic opportunities for the DTC business.
Structure and build complex financial models to inform decision making across a variety of projects, including new business development opportunities and growth strategies.
Complete market research by analyzing and synthesizing data from a variety of sources.
Create executive-level presentations to summarize key insights and recommendations for the leadership team.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Minimum and Preferred. Inclusive of Licenses/Certs (include functional experience as well as behavioral attributes and/or leadership capabilities)
Basic Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience at a top tier investment bank, consulting firm, or comparable corporate strategy/development group.
Advanced technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling.
Strong analytic mindset, ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Media entertainment or technology experience preferred, not required.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree from a top tier university.
