Job Summary :
Disney Branded Television is the unit of Disney Entertainment Television that creates premium original content for some of The Walt Disney Company’s most cherished audiences : kids and families.

We are looking for a Coordinator, Corporate Communications to help support executive and corporate communications for Disney Branded Television, and provide direct support to the director, Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities :
Oversee, compile and distribute press clips report daily for Disney Branded Television, working closely with the team’s publicity team
Help write and design executive communications, reports, and presentations
Help draft and oversee distribution of the President’s employee communications
Maintain and update internal communications employee distribution lists and corporate communications media lists
Research, update and maintain internal team planning calendars, speaking engagement trackers, and trade and business editorial, awards, and events calendars
Help write and update executive bios and personnel announcements
Conduct comprehensive research and vetting of industry conference and speaking opportunities
Serve as a member of the employee communications task force, working closely with various departments to help develop, plan, and execute employee events, including town halls, etc.
Help team coordinate and prep executives for appearances at industry and press events as requested
Work closely with internal groups to manage logistics for sponsorships, including ad and table buys
Work closely with corporate communications, DEI, publicity and marketing teams across Disney Branded Television, Disney General Entertainment, and The Walt Disney Company on joint initiatives
Assist director with calendar and expense reporting
Support on any additional projects and tasks
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum 1 year of communications-related experience in a studio, network, agency, brand or similar organization
Excellent writing and editing skills a must
A self-starter and resourceful problem solver for whom no job is too big or too small
Highly organized and easily manages multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline / pressure
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interface with all levels of management and business partners, including executives, teammates, talent, press and external contacts
Proficient in internet-based research
Ability to maintain discretion with confidential and sensitive information
Demonstrates curiosity, business acumen, a strong interest in corporate communications and a desire to understand the big picture’
Preferred Qualifications :
Working knowledge of systems / tools including PowerPoint, Zoom, Slack, Concur, and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Keynote, SAP, and file sharing systems (Box, Google Drive, SharePoint, a plus
Previous experience in executive and / or internal communications a plus
Preferred Education :
Undergraduate degree
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $63,400 to $85,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and / or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
