What you'll get to do:
- Assist in developing controls documentation like interface descriptions and sequence of operations for automation projects, performs reach studies and time calculations for robot cells, and other automation equipment
- Program robots (Yaskawa, Universal, Omron) and automation equipment (Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley – Rockwell, Keyence)
- HMI Programming
- Assist in programming /Troubleshooting of Injection Mold presses, Blow molding presses, associated Robots (Star, ARI, Yushin), and automated assembly equipment
- Wiring of controls including working knowledge of safety relay circuitry
- Work with other departments to ensure project completion and success
- Develop studies and runs cycle time calculations
- Provide support/ Training for Maintenance personnel
- Assist with Design and build automated equipment (cells) with automation team in house
- Identify processes that are currently running for automated improvements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Mechanical skills
- Team player and able to work with all levels of employees
- Experience with Robot Programming, Omron Controllers, Mitsubishi Controllers, Allen-Bradley, Keyence vision systems and sensors
- Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming
