Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for completing daily and monthly audits and reconciliations; including but not limited to variance analysis and key performance reporting, as well as research and report on unclaimed property. Research, reconcile and provide monthly/annual 1099 IRS reporting. Respond to customer inquiries ensuring that problems are resolved in a timely manner and with significant customer satisfaction. Follow up on customer issues within agreed upon time-frames, ensuring resolution and minimize potential for problem re-occurrence. Ensure accurate & timely completion of all audits including employee purchases via P-Card program and expense reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet standards of production and quality in the completion of assigned tasks
- Review and determine accuracy of source data, account balances, calculations, postings, etc; investigates and reconciles any discrepancies
- Communicate with customers and responds to inquires; takes corrective actions
- Analyze compiled data and recommends appropriate actions
- Complete Key Performance Reporting and recommendations
- Complete monthly reconciliations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and bring them to management attention
- Develop queries; generate and distribute reports and work product
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (or degree in progress) in accounting or related field is preferred, and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence and to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism, discipline and enjoy the competitive spirit of adventure

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Salary Range: USD $20.72 - $29.62 / Hour
