Overview:
We are a geospatial technology firm looking for an inside B2B customer sales and service representative (CSSR) in our Portland, OR (Tigard) location. Our customers range from small environmental consulting companies to large Fortune 500 and Local/State/Federal government organizations. This is our 24th year of operation.

The successful candidate will provide product/services information, quotes, and after-sales support for our customers. The ideal candidate is excited to help customers and be an active problem solver. The successful CSSR can put themselves in the customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. The goal is to present and provide the products/services we offer, coordinate delivery, and provide after-sales support.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming/outgoing customer calls/emails
• Identify and assess customers’ needs and match them with our products/services.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information.
• Handle customer requests, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure the resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
• Go the extra mile to engage with customers

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B customer support or inside sales
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, email). Comfortable working with computers. We are a technology firm
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices (eg. HubSpot, Salesforce)
• The ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to work in a small office environment

Preferred but not required

• Experience with computer mapping technology
• iOS/Android/Windows experience preferred
• A technical certificate or degree may be helpful, but not required

We're in the niche field of designing, manufacturing, supplying, and supporting GPS equipment and software for generating high-accuracy computer maps (eg. - Geographic Information Systems) so we know we're going to need to train you on our products regardless of your education or experience.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
