By providing integrated care for the whole person, Center for Discovery brings hope for individuals to live a rich and fulfilling life.Compensation Range: $27 - $38 per hourThis position is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus.Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience Our Offer to You!We are dedicated to empowering our employees with their professional and personal development by providing:401(k) with company matchHealthcare benefitsVacation and sick daysEmployee referral programEmployee discounts to various stores, amusement parks, events, etc.Continuing education (CE) programs and trainingWeekly training opportunitiesAdvancement opportunities within the organizationJob DescriptionThe LVN/LPN works in a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing treatment services according to the Discovery Behavioral Health Clinical Model.ResponsibilitiesEnsures all orders from physician/psychiatrist are carried out and any information about clients and their wellbeing is promptly and clearly communicated to physician/ psychiatrist and in treatment team meetings.Follows and implements the Nursing Care Plan.Dispenses medication as prescribed.Counts narcotics each day, logs appropriately.Performs primary first aid and determines need for physician notification.Performs vital signs.Performs weekly blood draws, where applicable.Maintains NG tube when needed.Completing waived test for glucose monitoring, UA, Drug screen, and pregnancy.Responsible to ensure all the medications needed by the clients are ordered appropriately and available in the facility.Manages client’s medical needs including schedule appointments, complete referral/ prior authorizations for medical treatments and tests as indicated.We have two positions one is a part-time position working Thu-Fri 7am-7pm and the other is an on-call position.This position is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus.For a virtual tour of the facility, please visit our website at centerfordiscovery.com. QualificationsKnowledge, Education, Experience:Completion of a LVN/LPN or equivalent.Holds a current LVN/LPN license in good standing or equivalent.One year experience preferred working in mental health or eating disorders field.Blood draw certificate preferred.Not sure if you meet all the qualifications?
