Discovering Kindness Home Health offers a wide range of services to various populations in the community.
We have an immediate hire case in Bridgeport.
We are URGENTLY hiring for immediate hire PCA in New Haven for a part-time evening shift 4:00 - 11:00 pm. 3-4 days per week. Possibility of more hours if desired.
This is an ABI (acquired brain injury) lady who is very independant. Requires, supervision, redirection, meal prep, some light housekeeping, and companionship. If you are caring, friendly, responsible and have personal care experience we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- We provide home care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to appointments as needed (not pm shifts)
- Prompt to take simple prescribed medications if required
- Assist as needed with clients personal care activities - showering
- Laundry
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises if needed
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills:
- Caring and compassionate personality, honesty and integrity is a must!
- Proven working experience as home health aide
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Caring and compassionate personality, honesty and integrity is a must!
- Current CPR certificate & First Aid training (or we can assist with obtaining)

Expected hours: 28 per week
