Discovering Kindness Home Health offers a wide range of services to various populations in the community.
We have an immediate hire PT case.
We are URGENTLY hiring for immediate hire PCA in New Haven for a part-time pm shift 5:00 - 9:00pm 4 days per week Tue,Wed,Thur, Fri. (16 hrs total)
If you are caring, sturdy, responsible and have personal care experience we'd love to hear from you! Our male client needs assist from bed to chair with a hoyer. Light housekkeeping.
Responsibilities
- We provide home care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to appointments as needed
- Prompt to take simple prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities - showering
- Laundry
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises if needed
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills:
- Caring and compassionate personality, honesty and integrity is a must!
- Proven working experience as home health aide
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Caring and compassionate personality, honesty and integrity is a must!
- Current CPR certificate & First Aid training (or we can assist with obtaining)
