DISC Village is a private, non-profit community-based agency, that has been in operation for over 50 years and is one of the largest and most comprehensive prevention, intervention, and treatment agencies in Florida. DISC partners with local service providers across the Big Bend Region and collaborates with multiple state and federal agencies to provide a broad array of services including substance abuse prevention/intervention, family welfare, delinquency, and deflection programs for the community's diverse needs.

We are looking for a UA Technician to join our Outpatient Services team.

Essential Responsibilities

• Accurate completion of laboratory paperwork
• Observe voiding of urine specimens for male clients
• Maintain chain of custody of specimens and prepare specimens for shipping to laboratory
• Act as liaison with laboratory representatives
• Provide specimen results to referral sources
• Maintain urinalysis data as required
• Complete required fee collection process including payments, receipts, invoices, submissions, and reports
• Clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in the area of customer service or with substance use disorder clients preferred.
