Role: To provide quality living and community support and be responsive to individuals' needs in residential work or community settings. Teach, support and facilitate choices for individuals in their homes, work or community settings.

Experience: Prior direct care experience preferred, but no t required.
Education: High School diploma/equivalent preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to lift, push and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs and provide physical interventions on a regular basis. Noise level may vary, depending upon duty assigned.
Due to the potential intimate nature of care and physical proximity involved with some of those receiving HCBS funded I/DD services through Disability Supports, and in order to promote a safe work environment for both the caregiver and those for whom we care, you may, from time-to-time, be required to wear PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment). If PPPE is required, Disability Supports will provide it.
