Job Title: Business Analyst (with Clinical Domain experience)

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - Onsite)

Must Have:

• Experienced BA in clinical domain especially in PriorAuth, Clinical data analysis, COPD, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare payer industry, with a focus on health insurance operations
• Experience in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize healthcare payer services.
• Well versed with health insurance operations, including claims processing, eligibility verification, provider contracting, and member services.
• Expertise in collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements/new implementations, develop strategies to improve workflows and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Experience in developing detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to guide software development and testing.
• Must have worked closely with IT teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and requirements.
• Must possess healthcare regulations knowledge.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support for system implementations and upgrades.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health insurance operations and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Provide training and support to end users on new systems, processes, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of healthcare payer systems (e.g., claims adjudication systems, enrolment platforms) is preferred.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or related field is a plus.
