We continue to grow and need to add another Social Services Case Manager a.k.a. Access Specialist to our team at DPOK! This position will help people and families with the steps they need to complete to access the intellectual and developmental disability system. The Access Specialist will provide information and referral, determine a person’s eligibility, complete an interview and assessment, and provide general quality assurance activities. The Access Specialist will also travel to people’s homes for visits. A positive attitude, customer service skills, organization, responsive and supportive mind-set is central to the position. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but experience working with people with developmental disabilities can be substituted. A valid Kansas driver’s license is necessary. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.
