We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Outpatient Services with excellent administrative, leadership, and clinical expertise to oversee multiple clinical and social services operations, including: adult and children's outpatient services and psychiatric medication management programming. The Senior Director of Outpatient Services ensures the achievement of all program outcomes and deliverables within required timeframes and is able to identify, measure and report on program benchmark key performance indicators (KPI's). The Senior Director of Outpatient Services must be able to plan the implementation of clinical programing in accordance to agency strategic planning, and develop operational strategies. In addition, the Senior Director of Outpatient Services ensures that all programing meets or exceeds policy and regulatory standards for clinical care.
A successful candidate for this position must understand the clinical, operational, and workforce changes necessary to effect organizational change across multiple service sectors, including behavioral health services, homeless services, schools, primary care, and non-direct human services. Responsible for providing leadership, direction, guidance and training for peer supports, targeted mental health case managers, licensed and non-licensed clinicians, physicians and nurse practitioners, clinical and non-clinical supervisors, and clinical and non-clinical directors while overseeing a range of administrative and clinical activities.
Directions for Living is an essential services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation. MINIMUM EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate must have a Masters' degree in Social Work or related field .
  • Florida license in one of the healing arts preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in leading teams in a Director-or-higher role.
  • Candidate must have experience delivering trauma-related services, as well as familiarity on trauma theory and research and advancement of trauma-informed approaches.
  • Candidate must have successful experience achieving strategic outcomes, ability to measure and report on KPI's, developing operational strategies, able to maintain rigorous standards of care, serve as a change agent; implementing quality improvement initiatives and complex organizational change.
  • Candidate must have dynamic and innovative presentation and public speaking skills, demonstrated knowledge of group facilitation and training skills, and exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
