Direct Source, a local Family-Owned Montana Company, is looking to expand our team for our Hamilton Showroom location. We have worked hard to build relationships with builders, remodelers, and homeowners. Experience preferred, but not necessary as we are willing to train the right person! Position: Full-Time Kitchen and Bath Designer/Design Assistant
Pay: Salary Plus Commission (Salary based on experience)
Requirements:
Primary Job Duties:
Greet and build relationships with customers who visit our showrooms, call in, or request information through our website.
Walk customers around our showroom, ask relevant questions, and help determine the need of each individual customer.
Direct the customer to one of our award-winning cabinet manufacturers that best meets their design and budget goals.
Attend industry networking events to develop relationships with builders and other industry professionals, creating additional project opportunities.
Design using the latest 2020 design software to help each customer achieve their design goals based on the customer’s unique kitchen layout.
Travel to and be able to effectively measure a job site or customer’s existing space to ensure proper design, flow, and cabinet layout for each individual project.
Utilize effective sales techniques to identify the customer’s needs, overcome any potential objections, and sell the customer on the benefits of partnering with you at Direct Source.
Working with the customer throughout the project from the first time they walk into our showroom until the time their project is complete.
Other Job Duties May Include (But are not limited to):
Occasional traveling for training and other company events Work with your peers to help review project designs, and work to eliminate potential design errors Keep the showroom clean and organized between customer visits Assisting the delivery specialists which may include checking off orders and/or occasionally lifting boxes and items up to 50lbs.
