Job Description
Job Title: Security Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property and personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor assigned areas to prevent criminal activity
- Report suspicious activities to local authorities
- Monitor surveillance cameras, inspect property, and monitor crowds
- Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
- Check doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure after business hours
- Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property
- Reasonably detain persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
- Escort discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests and employees

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Armed Security Guard Licensing required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
