Overview
Primary Responsibilities
This position is overseeing the daily construction activities at work sites. Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and delivery of equipment and materials. The Field Superintendent works with contractors to complete projects within the given budget and timeframe.
Essential Functions:
· Works with sales and project manager
· Manage customer service on assigned projects.
· Manage all project timelines and project profitability.
· Communicate and administer change orders.
· Perform site visits daily.
· Troubleshoot any issues that arise and have necessary conversations to resolve issues.
· Deliver material to job sites when necessary.
· Help maintain schedules.
Specific Job Skills and Qualifications
· Construction Management degree preferred.
· 3-5 years’ experience in the related areas
· Experience with customer service and conflict management
· Excel and Microsoft software knowledge required.
· Understands and manages builder related software programs; Supply - Pro, Buildtopia, Marks Systems.
· Willingness to work early morning hours or late afternoons.
· Strong attention to detail
· Physically capable of lifting 25lbs. or more
