Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Care Worker. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide care and support to a young individual in need, ensuring their well-being and quality of life. Training is required and includes completion of Recipient Rights and blood borne pathogens (Online courses).
Duties:
-Provide emotional support and companionship to individual
- Maintain a safe environment for individual
- Follow care plan and communicate effectively with family
- Support individual's independence and uphold their rights
-Driving individual in the local area to their planned activities
Experience:
- Experience in conflict management and resolving issues effectively
-Ability to perform tasks related to working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
