Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenter’s hand and power tools.

Responsibilities :

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
• Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
• Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
• Ability to read and take action on blueprints
• Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Osha Certified 10hr and 30hr
• Must haver driver’s license and have experience driving box truck.

• Porcelain, concrete, and ipe tiles

• Understanding property lines
• Installing horizontal custom fences and panel style

• Reading drawings
• Being able to calculate cut sheets
• Furniture building
• Joinery experience
• Domino joining
• Mortise and tenon
• Dovetail
• Sanding experience
• Finish sanding (without swirls)
• Finishing
• Spraying
• Rubbed on finish
• Staining
• Water based and oil
• Veneer work
