The Seasonal Manager position is a great opportunity for anyone looking to pick up valuable management experience without committing to a long-term position. Full and part-time positions available, and possibility for promotion to a permanent position at the end of the seasonal period. 

The Seasonal Manager position is a crucial component of the site management team. Working closely with counterparts, the Seasonal Manager is responsible for effectively managing day-to-day operations to achieve the goals set forth by the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Goals include but are not limited to: revenue and expense targets, consistent high quality customer service, safety goals and maintaining facility cleanliness standards. In addition, the Managers are responsible for training and developing an effective, knowledgeable team and consistently holding all team members to high standards through solid leadership. 

Job Responsibilities:

Set the Big Picture of the Day

• Staff allocations – balance the GM’s plan with staff levels
• Bath time allocations – set max number of baths
• Boarding availability – set cap number if needed
• Evaluation availability – set cap number
• Break schedule – set up and manage

Team Management

• Training – scheduled and on-the-fly for employee growth
• Staff check-ins – moral management
• Staff issues – address in a timely manner and add to performance log
• Rotations – manage for optimal team growth and satisfaction
• Accountability – ensure all team members are completing their duties 

Business Management

• Medication check for feeders
• Customer call-backs
• Employee injury management
• Dog injury management (major)
• Safety – ensure safety protocol is being followed

Communication

• Actively communicate with Front and Back Supervisors
• Create and edit Gingr icons – screen reports for important information
• Facility repairs – add to Trello with pictures
• Liaison with General Managers – communicate all pertinent information and employee feedback/concerns

Requirements

• Solid Dioji performance history and exemplifies positive leadership skills
• Fully trained as a Level 4, 5, or 6 Associate
• Flexible availability, including availability for at least weekend shift per week
