Traveling Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)- PRN/Contract Base

Must have Certified Dietary Manager Certification through ANFP

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking applicants for our open PRN/Contract Base Certified Dietary Manager positions in the United States.

The ideal candidate must be willing to travel and would be able to provide coverage 40 plus hours a week when the facility needs coverage. Travel expenses will be covered!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Based upon educational and regulatory limitations, develops and monitors resident nutritional care.
• Monitors resident intake and adherence to diet orders.
• Participates in facility meetings as requested by Administration when scheduled during consulting visits.
• Assists in developing educational materials to use in nutrition education.
• Based upon educational limitations, counsels individuals and families with nutrition planning.
• Monitors that foods are prepared and served with regard to nutritive flavor, appearance, and appropriate temperatures.
• Refers residents at nutritional risk to the appropriate dietary consultant for further intervention
• Hands on, working position.
• Fill in kitchen shifts if needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Food Service Background
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Dietary Manager's Program
• Hold a current Driver's License
• Able to work with the elderly
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Willing to travel
• Self-Starter.
• Reliable transportation.

PREFERRED

• Long Term Care experience
