and leads technology evaluations, proofs of concept, client demonstrations and various solutioning and educational presentations to assert vetting and client buy-inCoordinates and collaborates on developing requirements and mission outcomes with executive leadership, business stakeholders, various technical teams, contractors, etc.Serves as the technical strategy champion, resolving program issues, answering questions, and prescribing adoption of proposed solutions for leadership, staff, and contractorsAuthors required documentation, briefings, SLAs, and technical standards for the architectural runwayWorks closely, leads and coordinates with other architects and additional members of the technical leadership and other program teamsEngages diverse organizations, industry modifies logic in existing applications and ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and integrates plug-ins and custom application components.Produces technical solutions with a detailed narrative for proposal development and supports key personnel requirements during procurement phases such as orals, technical challenges, etc.Participates in, and leads formal technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and other R&D activity, providing client demonstrations and various solutioning and educational presentations to assert vetting, making recommendations, and facilitating client buy-inJob Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::Required Skills:5 years experience serving as an architect on programs leveraging the Appian platform10 years of technology leadership experience with participation in major modernization and integration projects while designing and architecting large scale applicationsAppian Experience should include scripting, platform configuration, design, and deploymentCandidates should possess the skill to develop on the Appian platform including the customization of the core applicationsCustom application development on the Appian platform including Custom UI Pages and content in the CMSCertified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB Appian modulesExperience creating technical solutions for proposal development during procurement phasesEnd-to-end lifecycle experience re-factoring legacy applications into the Appian platformExcellent communication skillsMust be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Preferred Skills:Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodologyAdministration of a Appian instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart ServicesAppian Analyst Certification on recent Appian versionsKnowledge of web services and integration would be preferred.The role demands proficiency in coding and configuration skills in Appian.The person should be able to independently work with the customer and should have very verbal and written communication skills.The
