Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Manager

WACO Aircraft is the world's only manufacturer of new-production 1930's era biplanes and European monoplanes. Each aircraft is expertly and skillfully built by hand in Battle Creek, Michigan. Our Part 145 Repair Station, Centennial, does everything from restoring vintage aircraft to providing new avionics and engine maintenance for piston and turbine aircraft. Our WACO Kitchen serves fresh food with a fantastic view of Battle Creek Executive Airport.

What you will do

The Marketing Coordinator role is a critical business partner for all three public facing brands. You will assist in executing marketing strategies and be responsible for implementing the required tasks within each brand. Duties generally include: design of marketing material, event planning, content creation, managing social media, and website updates are also the responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator.

• Maintaining a vast knowledge of all WACO products and services in order to promote them

• Promoting the company's existing brand and assist with introducing new products to the market

• Maintaining Social Media schedules for WACO Aircraft, Centennial Aircraft Services and WACO Kitchen, which includes creating/posting content and responding to comments and messages

• Edits and designs advertisements for digital, print, outdoor and various sponsorships

• Content Creation for all social media platforms, including photos and videos

• Reviews and responds to online reviews, positive and negative, and shares them with the appropriate department Leadership

• Assists with organizing and attends all major and minor trade shows and implements social media promotions and strategies

• Design and source promotional materials

• Provides weekly progress photos of each aircraft in process.

• Assist in the development and implementation of brand awareness strategies

• Assist in creating and writing content for press releases, quarterly newsletters and various email communications

• Maintaining and updating website content, including but not limited to seasonal menu offerings and open job positions

• Attending major trade shows to assist in marketing and selling activities

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration , or relation field
• Minimum of three (3) years of related Marketing, Branding, and Advertisement experience.
• Adobe Creative Suites, Mac, Microsoft Suites and Windows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of all social networking platforms
