Job DescriptionThe Service Porter is responsible for the safe delivery of customer vehicles to the appropriate destination following Company guidelines and procedures.The ideal candidate has at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Greets customers as they arrive in the service drive and informs the corresponding service advisor of their arrival
- Cleans customer cars on request
- Assists in unloading and loading trucks on delivery
- Ensures a clean environment for customers to enjoy
- Empties trashcans of excessive trash in shop and on service drive
- Sweeps floor on service drive
- Organizes vehicles on lot
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Highly professional and dependable
- Experience providing quality customer service
