Diman Regional Vo-Tech High School / Greater Fall... is Hiring an Utility Person - Full Time Near River, MA

Start Date: Upon Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Pay Rate: Relative to experience and in accordance with the AFSCME Custodial Salary Schedule


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tools
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems highly preferred
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals
  • Current authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Favorable driving record, CORi/SORi and fingerprinting results)

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for assisting in all duties related to the upkeep of school facilities
  • Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Obtaining a MA 7D license (District paid)
    • Ability to safely and confidently work with moving machinery
    • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
    • Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, lifting up to 50lbs, squatting, crawling at least 50% of the shift, and standing 75% of shift (Based on 8-10 hour shift)
  • Ability to safety and confidently work around moving machinery so as to avoid accidents to yourself and others
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
  • Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and crawling at least 50% of shift. Requires 75% of shift (Based on 8-10 hour shift)
