This role will support sales department by processing all sales paperwork, order and tracking customer purchases, and closely interacting with sales staff. Navigate manufacturer’s ordering, tracking, and processing systems as key contact.
This is a full-time, nonexempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per work week.
Essential Job Functions:
- Order and track items related to and including warehouse racking purchases & stock. Navigate manufacturer’s web sites for ordering, tracking, and processing sales.
- Monitor gross profit on sales, and disperse discounts to sales, within company guidelines.
- Process invoices, quotes, and other sales paperwork in Softbase.
- Closely work with sales staff to ensure a seamless customer service approach.
- Submit customer credit applications to external finance company. Process documents and set up billing arrangements and approvals.
- Work with manufacturers, navigate manufacturer’s systems to track orders and information flow.
- Order, track, and invoice miscellaneous material handling products
- Maintain electronic files, including all documents, emails, and create cost justifications for commission purposes
- Working with city offices to obtain building permits, etc.
Other Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor production guidance and inventory. Order and manage stock on hand.
- Manage office supplies, petty cash, etc.
- Actively participate in meetings in a timely and prompt manner.
- Attend training sessions and continuously learn more about the sales industry to stay knowledgeable.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Or any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform essential duties.
- Prefer one year experience in a business support role, with extensive use of computers and information.
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
