Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Adjust machine controls or tool settings to ensure proper functioning and quality of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Inspect and measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tooling used in machining operations
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Experience with Fanuc controls is a plus
