**Job Summary:**
The Shift Leader is responsible for running PRIMO SHIFTS and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service. They will embody the Dillas culture and convey it to team members and customers. The Shift Leader will be accountable for upholding the company's core values and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, speed of service, training, food cost, and labor management.
**Responsibilities:**
- Give clear direction to the shift team, set goals, and align them with the company's objectives.
- Empower team members to achieve goals and provide opportunities for success.
- Define and communicate the standards of Dillas procedures through effective training.
- Motivate and inspire the team to maximize their potential.
- Respect team members and ensure that they feel appreciated and valued.
- Provide feedback and seek feedback to improve communication and address issues.
- Follow up on the team's performance and celebrate successes or address areas for improvement.
- Prioritize the safety of team members and customers and enforce safety rules.
- Support and promote all restaurant programs and initiatives.
- Stay organized and contribute to the overall success of the leadership team.
- Demonstrate a proactive and action-based mentality, always going the extra mile.
- Strive to develop personally and professionally and take on more responsibility.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Understanding of and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in various technology systems.
- Must have the physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, kneel, bend, ascend or descend stairs, and reach and grasp objects.
