Dillard's is seeking a Junior Information Security Analyst in Little Rock, Arkansas. As the Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be learning on-the-job from a team of Specialists on how to respond to security anomalies, threats, and how to analyze data to ensure Dillard's most critical assets are protected. Responsibilities included with this role include Endpoint Security, Network Security, Vulnerability Management, Application & Web Security, and PKI Management.

THE TEAM

The Information Security Team is responsible for the confidentiality of customer and employee information, ensuring the data stored and shared maintains integrity, all while making sure that all of this does not impact the availability of the entire Dillard’s enterprise.

This team is expected to be high-performing. To meet this expectation, the team members are communicative and collaborative, always sharing knowledge and research with one another. Members of this team should be able to understand what is expected of them and adjust on the fly, as priorities may change depending on the company's needs. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Learn how to properly use all Information Security tools and understand the value of the data.
• Generate reports, spreadsheets, and deliver analysis as requested by management.
• Research vulnerabilities to understand the risk to the organization and appropriately prioritize.
• Respond and review alerts and investigate validity, escalating where necessary.
• Serve as backup to certain roles when growing demands arise.
• Work in a hybrid Windows/Linux environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation supporting users and Information Security technologies.

THE SKILLSET

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
• Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic findings
• Curiosity and strong work ethic with a desire to troubleshoot and lead research until a solution has been found
• Ability to work independently and in teams, while meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• History of and commitment to ethical behavior and ethical full disclosure

THE "NICE TO HAVES"

• Background in any of the following areas: cybersecurity, intrusion detection/prevention, OS architecture, malicious network traffic identification, malicious code detection/prevention, security auditing, security architecture, security awareness education, databases, application security architecture for web environments, identity management, PKI, encryption methods/standards, event correlation, authentication services, incident handling/forensics, PKI.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL

• Understand how to find vulnerabilities within Dillard’s environment
• Begin understanding which team owns specific types of devices
• Be comfortable with who is responsible for various disciplines within the team

WITHIN 2 MONTHS, YOU’LL

• Begin understanding the Dillard’s network infrastructure
• Understand the firewall review process 
• Have the ability to create a ticket in our ticket management software

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL

• Have the ability to work with the appropriate teams to get a vulnerability remediated
• Understand the various alerts alerts we receive and work with the users to triage the alert
• Be prepared to enter the on-call rotation
