DILIGENT, the highest-rated, and fastest-growing home inspection company in Tennessee (based right here in Nashville), is currently hiring multiple home inspectors to help meet the rising need for high quality home inspection services here in the Middle TN area. Founded on the principles of Integrity, Honesty, and Excellence, DILIGENT provides a wide range of inspection services, and is looking for solid, trustworthy, hungry, go-getter types to help continue to build our team.

In this role, you will be provided the best education and training to quickly rise to the top of the home inspection field locally, encouraged to push yourself in knowledge, skills, and certifications to help push our high standards every higher. Supported by a ever-present team of staff and managing inspectors, you will get the chance to experience the best parts of a team-atmosphere, while still retaining the elements of personal freedom that are important to many prospective home inspectors.

We hope that our candidates will come to us already having a license, or are at least “license ready”. Ideally, the best candidate will have some technical background or experience in the trades, but more specifically will understand “the way the world works”. While construction and/or inspection experience isn’t necessary, we are looking for analytically minded people who enjoy digging into an idea or topic, and aren’t afraid to try and explain that concept, whether in word or on paper. We find that curiosity, and a sharp mind are the two most important traits to bring to the table. A lastly, while technical knowledge is helpful, we are looking for communication skills, and those interpersonal skills in talking to others.

As a constantly growing company, in both breadth and depth, we are looking for people who are driven to succeed, as there is plenty of future opportunity to advance, or take on new skills, certifications, roles, and/or responsibilities. We are needing flexible people who understand the seasonality to our business, and can flourish in our type of atmosphere.

We provide a robust compensation package, including: personal schedule freedom, seasonal bonuses, above market commission-based-salary, continuing education and certification opportunities, Health/Vision/Dental benefits options with a company subsidy, and 401k 3% match retirement plan. Our Inspectors have no costs and are provided complete E&O coverage, a full tool package, and CE/license/certification management at the company level.
