Job Description: Caregiver

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following proper infection control protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with end-of-life care for hospice patients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Ability to provide patient care with compassion, empathy, and respect
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required in the caregiving role
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for them
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for residents' comfort and safety
