Responsibilities:

• Operate transportation vehicles: The Tire and Load/Unload Driver is responsible for operating trucks and other designated vehicles to transport tires and other goods. Possess strong driving skills and knowledge of local traffic regulations to ensure safe and punctual trips.
• Load and unload the truck: These professionals are responsible for loading and unloading tires and other goods at designated locations. This requires physical abilities to lift, move, and stack items safely, using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary.
• Check cargo: Before starting trips, the driver should verify that the cargo is properly secured and loaded in the vehicle. They must also ensure that the quantities and types of goods match the shipping documents and report any irregularities or damages.
• Receive payment from customers: During deliveries, the driver is responsible for receiving payment from customers. This may involve issuing receipts, recording financial transactions, and handling cash or other forms of payment appropriately.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license appropriate for operating trucks.
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• No criminal records.
• Proven experience as a Tire and Load/Unload Driver or in a similar position.
• Knowledge of applicable traffic and safety regulations.
• Physical abilities to load and unload goods.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Payment:

• $23 to $24 per hour and weekly, with sick day, paid vacations and paid holidays.
