Position Title: Go to Market Strategy and Operations Lead

Location: Dallas/Austin, TX

Your role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to join our team as the Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations Lead. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative go-to-market strategies that drive business growth and transformation. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a proven track record in designing and implementing successful go-to-market initiatives.

What you’ll do

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in the development pf the strategic plan
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Use data driven approach that uses metrics and measures to design optimal resource allocation to develop strategic plan

Transformation Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive organizational change and transformation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and agility to adapt to market dynamics.

Channel Strategy:

  • Partner with cross functional leadership to design and optimize channel strategies to maximize market reach and revenue.
  • Identify and design plan to implement optimal resource allocation to drive channel growth across segments

Metrics and Analysis:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Foster a customer-centric mindset throughout the organization, ensuring all strategies and initiatives prioritize customer satisfaction and value delivery.

Go-to-Market Roadmap:

  • Develop a detailed go-to-market roadmap outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals.

Market Segmentation and Targeting:

  • Conduct in-depth market segmentation analysis to identify target customer segments.
  • Develop tailored strategies for each segment, addressing their unique needs and preferences.

Technology Integration:

  • Explore and recommend technology solutions that enhance go-to-market effectiveness and overall productivity of GTM organization.
  • Partner with responsible teams on the integration of technology tools that will streamline processes and improve overall efficiency to ensure they are driving productivity improvements.

Global Expansion and Growth:

  • Assess and develop strategies for new JV’s and markets, considering cultural nuances and regional variations.
  • Collaborate with international teams to adapt go-to-market approaches for diverse markets.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with go-to-market strategies and develop mitigation plans.

Customer Feedback Loop:

  • Establish a systematic feedback loop to collect customer insights and preferences.
  • Utilize customer feedback to iterate and enhance go-to-market strategies for continuous improvement.

Collaboration with External Stakeholders:

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry influencers.
  • Leverage external expertise to enhance go-to-market strategies and market positioning.

Issue Management:

  • Develop contingency plans for potential issues that may impact go-to-market initiatives.
  • Lead issue management efforts to minimize business disruption and maintain customer confidence.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role focused on go-to-market strategy and business transformation.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5 or more years of strategy experience with a top-tier management consulting firm
  • Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies in a complex business environment.
  • Track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives through effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in marketing technology, data analytics, and digital transformation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
