The Operations Manager is responsible for the organization, effectiveness and efficiency of Digital Media Systems operations, procedures, and resources.
The Operations Manager will work directly with management to ensure that all facets of Digital Media Inc. operations are performed reliably.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 (five) years experience in a relatable field. The candidate must also have the ability to think and act strategically with strong problem solving, analytical and negotiating skills, as well as proven skills in prioritizing and managing many situations simultaneously. Additionally, the candidate must possess outstanding communication skills and a proven record of customer follow up.
Essential Job Functions By Category :
- Develops and maintains strong customer and partner (internal and external) interfaces.
- Creates vision, strategy and leads work unit to achieve optimum quality assurance systems and processes for services provided and/or procured.
- Manage the technical engineering staff and the quality control functions
- Actively mentor staff to increase technical and soft skill levels in support of partner's and organization's mission, goals, and objectives. - Conduct information-sharing sessions to facilitate increased awareness of industry trends and upcoming technical initiatives
- Support budget development, management, and execution.
- Provides project management oversight to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Participates in activities to develop technical or administrative quality solutions to customers expectations.
- Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical or administrative support staff.
- Champions initiatives to develop, improve, and resolve issues with critical processes and technologies.
- Encourages and facilitates internal and external teamwork and promotes customer service.
- Supplier/ 3rd party auditing' experience to the qualifications/ experience and costs required.
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established Heath, Safety, & Environmental considerations.
Requirements :
5 7 years experience or bachelors degree with 3 years or more experience.
Professional experience in technology sector with emphasis in audio visual or related presentation technologies is ideal but not required
Ability to direct and control technical / operations meetings.
Production of concise meeting minutes and reports.
Ability to convey complex technical issues to others.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
This is a full-time benefited position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. This is not a remote position. Main office is in Mt. Vernon, NY with boutique postproduction location in Manhattan.
