Overview:
We are a Knoxville, TN company, seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer Technician to join our team in manufacturing innovative state of the art LED-based UV systems for medical and industrial applications. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, assist with R&D, and production activities. The job is full time, 40 hours a wk, M - F.
Duties:
- Willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of analog & digital electronics
- Build, repair, test, and troubleshoot our systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Keep accurate records of work performed
Experience:
To be successful in this role, some of the following qualifications and skills are very useful:
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to solder and crimp wires
- Previous experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, components, and circuits
- Familiarity with PCB design and soldering techniques
- Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
