Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, alternate Thursdays or Fridays 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (40 hours)

What You’ll Do

Assist the Branch Manager in supporting and contributing to DCU's Success Sharing by creating a sales and service culture within the branch through effectively leading the staff and helping our members achieve their financial goals. Refer new business and Select Employee Group (SEG) opportunities to the Manager. Effectively manage branch sales and service levels.

  • Support Success Sharing by achieving individual and branch sales goals. Work with the Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and coach the staff to achieve sales goals.
  • Oversee branch sales, member service experience, and effectively manage expenses. Assure branch staff completes all required compliance training and adheres to all compliance policies. Recognize work processes that can be streamlined to reduce cost, save time and encourage staff to provide their suggestions. Perform all Branch Team Leader and Teller duties as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of staff performance. Provide training, timely review of performance progress and maintain performance documentation for Member Service Representatives. Assure that performance evaluations and monthly meetings with staff (Member Service Representatives) are completed on time.
  • Support the Branch Manager in building strong partnerships with local businesses and SEGs. Identify and refer new business and SEG opportunities to Manager. Attend chamber and networking events.
  • Understand and explain all products and services. Open new memberships and new accounts, while adhering to guidelines. Promote and demonstrate electronic delivery systems.
  • Perform MSR duties, which include having knowledge of all DCU products and services. Utilize established guidelines to obtain Lending Authority, process loan requests, confirm all conditions have been met and verify the integrity of the documents prior to conducting loan closings. Obtain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) authority through the nationwide mortgage licensing system (NMLS) and originate mortgages, as well as obtain Notary Public certification.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Manage operations when covering a branch by assuring compliance with policies and procedures and security. Promptly resolve maintenance issues as they occur. 
  • Recognize work processes that can be streamlined to reduce cost or save time and encourage staff to offer their suggestions. Continuously identify efficiencies and process improvement areas.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of branch operations
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Prior lending experience
  • Knowledge of Windows and Micro Soft Office
  • Two to three years of supervisory and sales management experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
