What You’ll Do

Summary/Objective:

The Consumer Lending Quality Control Specialist I will provide pre- and post-funding quality control, audit support, post-funding document reviews and/or consumer lending processes and functions.

Essential Functions:

• Perform re-verification of credit and underwriting documents and decisions for pre and post-funding quality control in accordance with the CFPB, NCUA, and internal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations including but limited to Reg. B, Reg. Z, RESPA, and Truth-in-Lending.
• Maintain clear tracking of all re-verification activities within system of record.
• Thoroughly document all communication and progress of first line of defense activities.
• Provide clear and accurate reporting to management.
• Assist with Fair Lending data and analysis.
• Support Consumer Lending Department to develop and maintain an optimized and efficient QA/QC plan.
• Provide quality control for all operational automations.
• Provide detailed documentation required for internal and external audit examinations.
• Serve as a data steward for the consumer lending department.
• Identify potential gaps in policy, process, systems, and training and share ideas for potential resolution.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).

What You’ll Need

• 1-3 years of related consumer lending experience preferred.
• BA/BS Degree Preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• Knowledge of State and Federal compliance relating to lending is helpful.
