Summary:

The Landscape Installer must have a positive can-do work ethic, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately and be punctual.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Able to use basic tools safely and properly: shovel, grading rake, spade, grub hoe, wheelbarrow, sod roller, etc. Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual.

• Works in a safe manner and reports any / all unsafe conditions to foreman and / or supervisors.

• Follow all instructions from supervisor(s) promptly and accurately.

• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly and per company production rates.

• Able to communicate with the supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.

• Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed to support organizational needs. 

Preferred Education, Work Experience & Skills:

• Minimal to at least one year of previous construction experience. 

• Valid/current Driver’s License, reliable transportation, be insurable on company’s insurance policy.

• Reports to work in a clean and appropriate uniform wearing the appropriate boots.

• Willing to learn/master the basic skills of a landscape installer.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to handle the workload of a landscape installer and have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.

• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly in person, and by phone, as needed.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting standards specified in job description and through performance management.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Must be able to be physically present at work during operating hours.

Work Environment:

Exposure to typical Colorado climate including conditions such as extreme heat & cold and inclement weather, dust & dirt, loud noises, uneven work surfaces & trenches. Located at but not limited to, busy streets, residential and commercial locations. PPE & proper hazard controls will be provided. 

Compensation: 

DOE: $20.00 - $22.75 per hour
