Digestive Care Center is Hiring a Patient Care Technician Near Newburgh, IN

Digestive Care Center is looking for a Patient Care Technicianfor our Newburgh Office. The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting our physicians and nurse practitioners by performing patient care, procedure scheduling and other support duties in the clinic.
*NO Certification Required*
What You Need for this Position:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CMA(certified medical assistant) or CNA(certified nursing assistant) preferred but not required
    • Can obtain within 90 days of employment
  • BLS CPR Certification.
  • Medical office experience required.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Obtains and documents pertinent information in patient chart
  • Obtains vital signs and place appropriately in chart
  • Completes patient history in an efficient manner while maintaining patient privacy
  • Marks patient status appropriately in EMR
  • Alerts appropriate staff of any patient concerns
  • Assists patient as needed to ancillary scheduling or to exit
  • Prepares and flags room for next patient
  • Complete cleaning and stocking at the end of each day
  • Lock up physicians’ laptops at the end of the day
