DiFebo’s Market is looking to hire a Cashier/ Sales Associate, responsible for assisting customers as they shop within the Market. The duties of the retail associate include greeting customers, answering questions related to the products sold, menu as well as store policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and engaging customers as they enter the market
- Assessing customers’ needs suggesting solutions to their problems
- Working with cash registers and processing payments
- Setting and attaining sales goals or as directed by the manager on duty
- Informing customers about sales, promotions
- Using upselling techniques to increase sales store
- Cleaning and restoking the store throughout the day, before opening and at closing
- Follow all safety rules and regulations regarding Covid, per company policy
- Enter phone or online orders in the register
Requirements:
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
Competitive pay, flexible hours, benefit package available.
